Mackinac was amazing. It reminded me of the movie, Pleasantville {a guilty pleasure}, with the tiny shops, dress codes, and carriages. The homes were incredible. The Grand Hotel was absolutely stunning - with it's turquoise ceilings, yellow antique sun chairs, black and white stripe awnings, and enormous rocking chairs overlooking the water. It reminded me of the Titanic. I ate a ton of fudge, walked a lot, and made Dave and I get matching sweatshirts. It was such a fun weekend!
Hope your week is going well! xo

Liz! First of all I just stumbled upon your blog and am so very in love! You have such precious style and I love your photography! So happy to be following along. Also - I was in Mackinac Island with my hubby this time last year for a wedding and it was absolutely DREAMY! I had no idea Northern Michigan could be so heavenly! :) Not sure if you flew in through Traverse City, but we passed through what looked like miles and miles of fields of sunflowers. Just gorgeous!! :) Thanks for sharing your beautiful trip! xoxo
