I really want a garden of my own.
I would love to be able to venture into my backyard and have all of the necessary herbs and veggies to create a fresh summer dinner. While roaming the Sheffield Garden Walk this weekend, there are so many people in the city, who live in tiny little apartments, that create beautiful gardens full of all types of flowers, vegetables, herbs, and plant life. My garden would definitely include:
What would you grow in your garden?

We grow lots of flowers on our roof, anything that needs lots of light! I love having flowers up there.

Liking your garden picks....I would def grow basil, mint and peonies. I think I'd also add some ranunculus, asparagus, corn and cucumbers. I actually wish I could grow every fresh veggie and herb! :D
I really want my own herb garden some day. Then i wouldn't have to spend all of my money on fresh ones when I need/want them.
Ohh I would love a garden too! It would be great to grow fresh herbs! :)
I hope my garden grown like that first picture! I would def grow basil and mint bc its always best fresh off the vine
I would love to grow my very own garden too!! So fun!! I would grow dill, cucumbers, peaches and then plant lots of coral geraniums!!
OH! and succulents galoooore!!
Beautiful post! I can't wait to get a garden growing.
Head over to my blog if you have a sec. I am headed to Chicago in a couple weeks and noticed thats where you are from. I am looking for any and all suggestions on places to go and what to do while I'm there. :)
Thank you in advance. xo
what a beautiful post! my aunt has her own veggie and herb garden...i'd love to have my own someday.
I love all these garden images! I really, really want a garden too. I'd love to go out back and pick all the ingredients for a caprese salad (well, minus the cheese of course). Yum!
Absolutely love this- we have basil in our garden, but I'd die for peonies in my garden!
although I do love our garden it is A LOT of work! Especially in the summer. I do love looking to see whats ripe every day though. it's like christmas!
This is a perfect collage and description of my PERFECT garden!!! I hope we both get them soon :)
I would grow peas- theyre SO delicious when they're fresh. And a gardener's advice: If you decide to grow mint, make sure you grow it in a container! It will take over your yard if you don't :)
I absolutely love gardens...mine would have to include honeysuckle and spanish broom because they smell like *HEAVEN*...unfortunately, I'm pretty sure I kill everything I even *look* at, so those plants might be safer some where else!!!
The coffee can planters are so cute, love the colors.
