The Greenbrier

I was reading the September 2010 issue of Vanity Fair and fell totally in love with The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. This small article described the work that interior-decorating pioneer, Dorothy Draper, did to create the masterful pink and green interiors of this dreamy hotel. The rooms are filled with cabbage-rose-printed sofas, black and white checkered floors, and room upon room of fantasy wallpapers. After a recent trip into bankruptcy, the Greenbrier has undergone an $80 million renovation which was sensitive to the Draper design.

I would love to plan a vacation to this wonderful American classic...
