Pieces

Pieces is a sophisticated home decor and accessories shop in Atlanta, founded by the creative {and incredibly savvy} Lee Kleinhelter. Not only is this place filled to the brim with ridiculously fab interiors, but Lee & her team create works of art from vintage finds which they reinvent and bring back to life. Jenny pointed me in Pieces direction and I have since set my eyes on a trip to Atlanta to witness this little gem. I am a huge fan of her light fixture inventory, but visit her website to witness some serious color, texture, textiles, and more. Lee's website is a blast to browse and has become my go-to database for future home purchases.

Enjoy!

Who Am I?

Joining the blogosphere has definitely had an impact on my personal style. As soon as I think I like one thing, some cool blogger tells me that my idea ain't so cool so I ditch my once cool idea for a new idea. It's a very confusing process but I have come to realize that I draw inspiration from so many different styles, designers, influences, etc. that I am beginning to question my aesthetic preferences. What do I like? Where do I like to sit? What catches my eye? Where do I feel comfortable? Who am I? Now that I live on my own and have a say in decor decisions, I find myself very confused.

Because I like neutrals - soft colors and feminine accents.

But then again, I enjoy a rustic home that feels cozy and has big oriental rugs and lots of big couches and deep wood floors.

BUT, I also have an obsession with pattern...

and just color in general.

So, where do these all tie together?

I don't really know, but I think I'm going to need a huge house to figure this out - and also numerous $$$.

John Robshaw

I discovered John Robshaw yesterday when I missed a DEAL on One Kings Lane for his seriously beautiful pillows and accessories. I can tell he has been a significant figure in the textiles industry for years but is new news to me and I am completely obsessed. His patterns and linens inspired by India are so dreamy and would be the perfect accent to a boring bed {me!} or anything for that matter.

First of all, his showroom...

so much fun! I don't think I would know where to begin. But I would definitely love to just hang out there and look pretty amongst his patterns, I would blend right in.

Lonny has been featuring his skills a lot lately and I mean, clearly.

He creates bedding, beautiful quilts, weekend bags, scarves, turbans, tabletop towels, shower curtains, bean bag chairs, luggage tags, passport covers, scarves. Everything a girl could want to brighten up her life. Beware, some of these cost a pretty penny but well worth the occasional splurge!
